Apple Unveils AirPods 5 with Enhanced Noise Cancellation, Volume Control

Cupertino, CA – At its "Surprise and Shine" event on Wednesday, September 10, 2026, Apple officially launched the fifth generation of its popular wireless earbuds, the AirPods 5. The latest iteration boasts significant upgrades, including substantially improved active noise cancellation, integrated volume controls, and deeper integration with Siri and Apple Intelligence.

The most prominent enhancement is the active noise cancellation (ANC) technology. Apple claims the AirPods 5 can reduce ambient noise by 50% more than the previous generation.
