The renders, obtained by AndroidHeadlines, showcase the base model of the Galaxy S series from all angles, indicating that Samsung has opted for minimal aesthetic alterations compared to the Galaxy S26. The design retains the familiar vertical triple-camera layout on the rear, a configuration that has been a hallmark of recent Galaxy S flagships.

The leaked dimensions for the Galaxy S27 are approximately 149.75 x 71.88 x 7.25mm, which are virtually identical to the Galaxy S26's measurements of 149.6 x 71.7 x 7.2mm. This consistency suggests that the 6.3-inch display, a size Samsung has maintained for several generations on its smaller flagship, will also be carried over to the S27. While the more premium Galaxy S27 Ultra is rumored to feature a redesigned camera plateau, the base S27 appears to maintain the current camera housing design. Analysts suggest that design changes, when they do arrive for the base model, might not appear until the Galaxy S28 iteration in 2028.

The visual updates on the Galaxy S27 are subtle, with the most noticeable potential change being slightly smaller bezels surrounding the display. The reported color options remain unconfirmed at this stage.

Anticipated Launch and Internal Upgrades

Samsung typically unveils its Galaxy S series in January, often shortly after the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). While specific chipsets are still speculative, the Galaxy S26 utilized Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy in select markets and Exynos 2600 in Europe. Emerging reports suggest the Exynos 2700 is showing strong performance against Qualcomm's next-generation Snapdragon processors, potentially leading Samsung to adopt the Exynos 2700 chipset globally for the Galaxy S27.
