Google has officially launched its much-anticipated Pixel 11 series, featuring a standard model, two Pro variants, and a new foldable. The company is currently accepting pre-orders for the devices, which will officially go on sale starting August 20. To entice early adopters, Google is offering promotional deals that include gift cards and enhanced trade-in bonuses for older devices.

The Pixel 11 series sees a significant bump in base storage, with all models now starting at 256GB. However, this comes as RAM prices have reportedly increased. The Pixel 11 Pro and 11 Pro XL models come equipped with 12GB of RAM as standard, while those seeking 16GB will need to opt for 512GB or 1TB configurations. The standard Pixel 11 includes 12GB of RAM, and the foldable model features 16GB. Under the hood, all Pixel 11 devices are powered by the new Tensor G6 chipset, promising improved efficiency and performance.

Camera upgrades are also a highlight. The standard Pixel 11 boasts a larger main camera sensor (48MP 1/1.56”) compared to its predecessor, while retaining the same telephoto and ultra-wide lenses. The Pixel 11 Pro models feature the HiLight RGB LED notification light and improved camera systems, including a 50MP main sensor on the Pro and a larger 5,115mAh battery with faster 45W wired charging on the Pro XL variant. Wireless charging across the series has been boosted to 25W magnetic charging.

Enhanced Foldable and Wearable Options

The new Pixel 11 Pro Fold has undergone a redesign, becoming slimmer and lighter than the previous generation. It measures 10.1mm folded and weighs 239g, representing an improvement over the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Despite the slimmer profile, it houses a 4,806mAh battery, which is slightly smaller than its predecessor, and supports 30W wired and 25W wireless charging. Google has also equipped the foldable with the standard Pixel 11's 48MP main camera sensor.

Alongside the phones, Google is offering promotional bundles. Instead of the standard gift card, customers can opt for a free Google Pixel Watch 5 (41mm Bluetooth model), with an option to upgrade to the 45mm version for an additional cost. The Pixel Watch 5 features a modest upgrade with 64GB of storage and enhanced Gemini Intelligence integration for health tracking.

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 receive a new Olive color option and software updates, including Dynamic ANC and an improved Live Translate mode, which will also be available for existing Pro 2 owners. For those looking for a more budget-friendly option, the Pixel 10a is available with a $75 discount, though it features an older Tensor G4 chip and 8GB of RAM.

The competitive landscape sees Google's new offerings up against Samsung's latest devices. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 series and Z Flip8 are also available with similar promotional deals. Samsung's foldables, particularly the Z Fold8 Ultra, are notably slimmer and lighter than the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Samsung's Galaxy S26 series, which has been available for some time, offers compelling value, with models like the S26 Ultra and S26 priced significantly lower than their Pixel 11 counterparts for comparable storage and RAM configurations. Both companies are vying for consumer attention in a crowded smartphone market, with price, features, and promotional offers playing key roles in purchasing decisions.
