Lenovo Unveils Legion R7 RT75 Magnetic Gaming Keyboard

Lenovo has introduced its latest high-end gaming peripheral in China: the Legion R7 RT75 magnetic keyboard. This new device aims to attract serious gamers with its advanced features, premium construction, and distinctive aesthetic. The keyboard boasts an impressive 8,000 Hz polling rate, rapid trigger technology with precise 0.01 mm adjustments, and a customizable actuation point ranging from 0.1 mm to 3.4 mm, alongside SOCD and DKS functionalities.

Constructed from a lightweight aluminum alloy, the Legion R7 RT75 features a sleek, all-metal body with a 6-degree elevation for improved ergonomics during extended gaming sessions. Its chassis is adorned with sculpted side panels that reveal RGB lighting zones through geometric cutouts, a design element that echoes some other premium gaming accessories. Internally, the keyboard utilizes a gasket mount system with five layers of sound-dampening material and a carbon fiber positioning plate to enhance typing feel and acoustics. The hot-swappable PCB is equipped with transparent Aurora magnetic switches offering 27–45 gf actuation force and pre-lubricated stabilizers for smoother key presses.

Advanced Features and Design Options

The Lenovo Legion R7 RT75 offers users a choice between two colorways: Cloud Silver, paired with both translucent and metallic dye-sublimated keycaps, and Storm Gray, which comes with translucent keycaps. Both variants feature south-facing RGB backlighting for customizable visual effects. A notable addition is a 1.4-inch TFT display integrated into the keyboard, likely for displaying system information or custom graphics. Powering these features is a substantial 8,000mAh battery, promising long operational periods. Connectivity is versatile, supporting 2.4G wireless, USB-C wired connections, and Bluetooth, although the Bluetooth connection operates at a lower 125Hz polling rate.

The launch of the Legion R7 RT75 in China, priced at 1,299 yuan (approximately US$192), also coincides with the release of a new 59g gaming mouse from Lenovo.
