Peak Design has launched its latest collection of everyday carry bags, dubbed the City Line, featuring six distinct models designed for urban life. The collection includes a 15-liter and a 22-liter City Backpack, a 15-liter City Tote, 6-liter and 12-liter City Crescent crossbody bags, and a 2-liter City Sling. All models are available starting today and introduce a novel integrated "BagLev" hook system, allowing users to suspend their bags from table edges or chair backs, keeping them off dirty surfaces.

The bags are constructed from Peak Design's newly developed MonoShell material, which is both lightweight and weather-resistant. This material contributes to a cleaner aesthetic, with minimal sagging or overt displays of storage capacity. The design emphasizes ease of use, with pockets strategically placed for organized access to gadgets and gear. Features like easy-pull zippers and magnetic closures enhance usability, while a dedicated, concealed pocket is available for tracking devices such as Apple AirTags. The company states that the focus was on refining existing elements rather than adding unnecessary complexity. "Rather than adding more features, Peak Design refined every material, seam, pocket, and silhouette to create bags that feel lighter, cleaner, and easier to use," according to a company press release. "City Line feels effortless to carry, easy to organize, and delivers the delightful features Peak Design is known for."

Innovative Features for Urban Commuters

The standout feature of the City Line is the BagLev hook, a clever integration designed to solve a common problem for people on the go. By allowing the bag to hang freely, it helps maintain cleanliness, particularly in environments like cafes or parks where surfaces can be unsanitary. This detail underscores Peak Design's commitment to practical innovation in their everyday carry gear. The collection is available in several color options, including a natural "Moon" hue and a striking "Lapis" blue.

The pricing for the new collection varies by model. The City Backpack 15L is priced at $179.95, with the larger 22L version costing $199.95. The City Tote 15L is available for $159.95. For the crossbody options, the City Crescent 6L is $89.95, and the 12L model is $119.95. The most compact option, the 2L City Sling, is priced at $69.95. These price points position the Peak Design bags as premium offerings within the competitive market for tech and travel accessories.
