New renders showcase Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra, and Flip8 foldable phones, alongside the Galaxy Watch9 and Watch Ultra2 smartwatches. Official details are expected at the July 22 Unpacked event.

Official-looking renders for Samsung's highly anticipated next-generation foldable smartphones and smartwatches have surfaced online just weeks before the company's official Unpacked event. The leaks provide an early glimpse at the expected designs and specifications for the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Watch9, and Galaxy Watch Ultra2, ahead of their unveiling on July 22 in London.
Leading the foldable lineup is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, designed to challenge premium smartphone offerings. Leaked images suggest it will be available in Cream, Graphite, and Lavender, with a special Pistachio color exclusive to Samsung's online store. The device is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch cover display and a larger 7.6-inch main screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio. Notably, it's expected to be remarkably light for a foldable, weighing around 200g, and measuring a slim 4.5mm unfolded and 9.7mm folded. Powering the Fold8 will reportedly be the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, coupled with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. A 4,800 mAh battery is anticipated to keep it running.
Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra shares a design language similar to the Fold7. It is expected to launch in White, Black, and Purple colorways, with an exclusive green variant for Samsung's online store. Like the standard Fold8, the Ultra model will also be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and 12GB of RAM, offering the same 256GB/512GB/1TB storage configurations. A larger 5,000 mAh battery is rumored, supporting 45W wired charging. The camera system is said to be a significant upgrade, featuring a 200MP main sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera.
Next-generation wearable tech emerges
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8, Samsung's compact foldable, is also showcased in leaked renders, appearing very similar to the outgoing Flip7. It is expected to be offered in Cream, Graphite, and Pink, with a potential Mint color exclusive to Samsung's online store. This model is rumored to be powered by the Exynos 2600 SoC in select markets and will reportedly weigh around 180g, housing a 4,300 mAh battery. Reports suggest that the cameras and displays may remain consistent with its predecessor.
Beyond the foldable phones, the leaks also highlight Samsung's next-generation smartwatches. The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is shown in renders featuring a single 47mm size and two distinct color options. This rugged variant is likely to target outdoor enthusiasts and athletes, offering advanced durability and features.
In contrast, the Samsung Galaxy Watch9 will come in two sizes, 40mm and 44mm, and is anticipated to be available in Cream, Graphite, and Green. These devices represent Samsung's continued push in the competitive smartwatch market, aiming to offer a range of options for different user preferences and needs.
All of these upcoming devices are reportedly expected to see a price increase compared to their current models, according to the latest information. The influx of detailed renders provides consumers with a substantial preview of Samsung's 2026 product lineup, fueling anticipation for the official announcements at the upcoming Unpacked event.
