Mercedes-Benz Partners Chipolo for Android Find Hub Key Tracker
Mercedes-Benz has launched a new key tracker, developed with Chipolo, that integrates with both Android's Find My Device and Apple's Find My networks. The device utilizes recycled materials and offers a 400ft Bluetooth range.

Luxury automotive manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a new key tracker designed to help owners locate misplaced car keys and other valuables. The device, produced in partnership with Chipolo, supports both Android's Find My Device network and Apple's Find My app, offering broad compatibility for users across different smartphone ecosystems. The tracker is available for purchase starting May 26, 2026.
The new tracker, essentially a re-branded Chipolo Loop, is constructed using at least 50% post-consumer recycled plastic, featuring a matte finish and a brushed metal key hook. A prominent chrome Mercedes-Benz logo adorns the front, while the Chipolo logo is present on the back, blending the distinct aesthetics of both brands. This eco-conscious design reflects a growing trend in consumer electronics towards sustainability.
Beyond its appearance, the Mercedes-Benz branded tracker boasts significant technical capabilities. It offers an impressive 400-foot Bluetooth range, ensuring users can track items even when they are not in immediate proximity. The tracker is powered by a rechargeable battery providing approximately one year of life on a single charge. It also comes with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, making it durable enough to withstand various environmental conditions. An integrated alert system emits a loud 120dB sound to help locate the tracker quickly.
Expanded Tracking Capabilities and Connectivity
The integration with Android Find Hub (now known as Find My Device) and Apple's Find My network is a key feature. This allows Android users to leverage the extensive network of devices that help locate lost items, while iPhone users can seamlessly integrate it into their existing Apple Find My setup. Additionally, the tracker can connect to the dedicated Chipolo app, enabling features such as the "Call Your Phone" function, which allows users to ring their phone from the tracker if it's misplaced nearby.
The collaboration highlights the increasing convergence of automotive brands with smart device accessory manufacturers. As vehicles become more integrated with digital technology, accessories that complement these systems are gaining traction. This tracker not only serves a practical purpose for Mercedes-Benz owners but also aligns with broader industry shifts towards connected car ecosystems and user-friendly tracking solutions.
The Mercedes-Benz edition Chipolo Loop tracker is priced at $39 on Chipolo's official website and is also available through other major retailers like Amazon for $45. This pricing positions it competitively within the market of item trackers, which includes offerings from companies like Pebblebee and Nomad, both of which have recently released their own Android Find Hub-compatible devices.
