Technology giant Meta has expanded the capabilities of its artificial intelligence assistant by launching a feature called Spaces. The new tool enables users to create custom environments within the sidebar of the Muse interface to handle specific projects and ongoing tasks.

According to the company, users can describe an idea in chat, and Muse builds a space for you, whether that’s a tracker, a planner or a project board. Examples provided by Meta include holiday gift trackers, wedding planners, vacation planning, and DIY projects. These spaces can also integrate with third-party applications to keep information updated automatically.

Zuckerberg Highlights New Tool

Mark Zuckerberg, Meta's founder and chief executive officer, shared details about the release on social media. Playing around with spaces in Muse lately — tell Muse what you need and it builds it. I’ve made a BBQ game, an event tracker, and a home control dashboard. Excited to see what you build, Mark Zuckerberg stated.

The introduction of Spaces follows previous updates to the Muse agent platform, which recently reached 10 million users in the United States and Canada following its debut. Additionally, the company rolled out Muse Voice, a feature allowing users to interact with their agent verbally.
