SpaceX successfully launched the final three O3b mPOWER satellites for SES from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida early Sunday, September 13, 2026. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 12:31 a.m. EDT, carrying the crucial payloads that will complete SES's medium Earth orbit (MEO) constellation. This launch is the latest in a series of missions for the Luxembourg-based satellite operator, SES.

The O3b mPOWER system is designed to provide high-speed, low-latency internet services globally, targeting enterprise and government clients. Unlike SpaceX's own Starlink constellation, which operates in low Earth orbit, the O3b mPOWER satellites are positioned in MEO, offering a different balance of coverage and performance.
